I'd only prioritize the Air if travel/weight is really important to you. If you're still trying to decide, I'd say go with the Air-even if it's "too much computer" or whatever. At this moment, I think the Pro is the better deal. It can feel odd in the hand sometimes because of those edges.Ĭonsidering the markdowns, the Air was going to be more expensive. The Air screen is good too, but the Pro beats it out easily. The screen is the thing you're definitely using 100% of the time, and it's often the #1 thing on my list when shopping for a computer. After a week, I canceled my Air preorder. I preordered the M2 Air (configured with 16gb ram and 1tb of space), but as I was waiting, I decided to go buy the base model 14" Pro at Best Buy (16gb ram, 512gb of space), with the intention of returning it if I didn't like it. I was looking for anyone's experiences a couple weeks ago, so hopefully this helps anyone else decide.
